5 Stars Great Product…worth the money.
This product works extremely well. I bought a cheap version initially, and it was a piece of junk. This one is more expensive, but it’s absolutely true that you get what you pay for. The retractable cables work perfectly, and never jam or tangle. I would definitely recommend this product.

I visited the Apple Store today to do more research on sync cables for IPhones and did discover that in fact, all cables recently made will work with either Ipod or IPhone. Since I didn’t actually use the prodect because of its labeling (and didn’t want to open it then have to return it), so I can’t speak to its effectiveness. I will, however, give it another try and offer another review..hopefully better.
5 Stars Finally, the quality I was looking for
Scosche is a brand I was unfamiliar with prior to this purchase. I’m pleased to make its acquaintance. I had previously purchased a less expensive retractable unit and had nothing but problems with it. Poor build quality, poor connectivity: Apple iPhone 3G Retractable Sync & Charge USB Cable (White). AVOID THIS UNIT! In sync operations, it cut in and out of the connection, and once it cut out at a point where important data was being transferred, corrupting my data and requiring a full restore! Needless to say, I was back in the market for a better one. I did a search and sorted by customer review. The Scosche was on top. So, what the heck.
I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Yes, it’s expensive. I know. But if it lasts and continues to perform as it is now, it was worth every penny. In my judgment it will last indefinitely, at least long enough for Apple to produce a new gadget with a different connection type….! It’s very well made (bulkier than the other unit, but with a better, tighter coil spring inside and clearly greater durability. I’m so impressed, I’m planning on getting the same brand for USB-MicroUSB (for my Kindle and my Archos Android), and one for USB-MiniUSB (for my Nikon D90 camera and RichardSolo external iPhone charger).
Yes, I’m an incurable gadget fanatic. Comments or questions welcome.
5 Stars High Quality Cord — WORKS WITH IPHONE!!!!
My cat turned the stock iPhone cord into swiss cheese, rendering it useless. Rather than buy him just another $20 chewtoy, I wanted something that was black (he never touched any other black cord in the house) and would retract (just in case he developed a taste for black). This cord is PERFECT! It doesn’t feel cheap at all like other retractable cords you find– it’s really well-made. It works F L A W L E S S L Y with the iPhone (I have the 3GS, specifically).
