BUT (There is always a but) I wish I had done more research on the charger plug on the Eris. If I had known mini usb fit I would not have bought these cables just because I have about 10 mini usb cables sitting around. Oh well now I have a charger in every room in my house AND my office.

I got this as a spare charger and car charger. The good news is that it will charge anything with a USB. The cable shipped is just a standard mini-USB cable which fits in the Eris and charges is… also handles data transfers. It is not the USB extended that is the fully compatible cable that comes with the phone… that just handles audio, should you plug it into a receiver. I haven’t really used any of it often, but I did check to make sure everything worked and it did. But now I have more than one option to charge my phone, which is worth 4 stars. Everything does fee a little cheap which is why its 4, not 5.

Data cable does not work….. Useless.
I am upset I wasted $6.00 on these items…..I shoulda shelled out $20 for a working charger combo from the Verizon store. Now I have to Pay $26.00
5 Stars A Great Charger!
A friend told me that he paid over $30 for a car charger from Verizon. I went on line and found this one. I couldn’t believe the low price, and was afraid that I’d be buying a piece of junk. But, the reviews seemed to suggest this was a nice charger; so I took my chances.
This is an amazing deal! The charger works great on my Eris Droid. I haven’t tried it on my bluetooth headphones, but I’m sure it will work on them - as well as other USB powered devices.
In my opinion there is no reason to buy a more expensive Droid charger - this one will do the trick at less than half the price!
