The connector port is a handy option for people who want to sync or charge their Zune without fumbling under the desk for the sync cable, as the cable instead plugs right into the dock. The A/V port, meanwhile, lets you connect the dock to a stereo system or TV for full-featured playback. In both cases, all you have to do is drop your Zune into the dock and it will charge, sync, or play back via the connected devices–no extra connections required. Plus, the dock includes an integrated IR receiver for use with the included wireless remote. The IR receiver and remote give you quick access to your current playlist, as well as full control over menu navigation and volume. The dock even includes a small built-in slot that holds the remote–a convenient and stylish way to store the remote when not in use. A Zune sync cable is also included–a necessary accessory to connect your Zune to the included AC adapter. The AC adapter is a great way to charge a Zune without the need for a nearby computer; simply plug the AC adapter into an adjacent outlet. With the AC adapter, your Zune will be 90-percent charged after only two hours, and fully charged in about three hours.

I found this product cheaper in Amazon then buying everything in peices. If you like having accesories by name brand buy this package, you can NOW find cheaper no name accesories that will work the same.
1 Stars Home pack almost killed my tv
Came in a plastic bag. i plugged it into my tv and i heard a pop noise from my tv. somehow it set my tv to shop mode. luckily that was all. still cant preview anything through the tv.

I just purchased this gen 1 av pack from shop cell. It arrived promptly and in good condition. It is a must have accessory for my gen 1 zune 30. I don’t use the video output, but it is pretty neat. This product really feels like it has a nice build quality and “heft” to it. The base stays put on the table with your cables even when you put the zune in and out. The remote is really nice. The buttons function just like on the zune. Very good deal combined with my $99 gen 1 zune and cheap old computer speakers. Awesome internet connected stereo system for less than $150 total! I think you are getting a really good deal for this package because it has been discontinued because the base does not fit right with gen 2 zunes. But if you like to get great deals it sounds like you can take off the top casing and fit gen 2 zunes, no problem.
5 Stars Nice Zune add-on
I am quite pleased with this AV pack. It works fine and comes with everything you’d need to have your Zune play videos on your HDTV, show photos on the large screen and listen to music over your home A/V system. The remote is simple, but it works fine. I have 3 different model #’s of Zunes and can fit them all into this A/V pack with the components provided.
5 Stars Good Dock
I wanted a dock that I could use at work. It’s great looking but if you have a Zune80, it’ll be a snug fit. If you take off the faceplate by pressing the small button on the smaller docking space, it will come off. Then your Zune80 will fit. I like the fact that you can also use the dock with a tv or monitor that has component inputs. The quality is not amazing but it does the job. It comes with two USB connections so you can leave on at home and one at the office with the dock. The remote is an added plus which works exactly like the Zune Pad. Overall, this is a great dock.
